Rei got up slowly and followed Maverick. It seemed a lot of people were staring at them. Sakurazaki felt uncomfortable around their wandering eyes. She could almost feel their gazes piercing through her. Ever since a young age, she had been wary of her silver hair and red eyes, which was a result of a Coordinator experiment that was done after she was born. It had succeeded in making her an advanced Coordinator, but it had alienated her from the rest of the army as well.

Scirocco: "Yes, come in."
*Outside in his Tartarus*
Duo: "Ugh, there goes my excitement for the night. Maybe I'll get a better assignment next time."

Walking into the room, Maverick stood before the man named Scirocco and frowned. "Good Evening, Mr. Scirocco? Was it?" he asked as he stared at the man. "I take it you have something to discuss with us?" Maverick asked as he watched the man carefully. You could tell alot about a person by watching them, and he intended to find out all he could.

Scirocco holds a glass of wine in one hand, and turns his head to look at the two pilots with his purple eyes. Adorned in his white Titans military uniform, he gave the impression of a gentleman.
"Ah, yes. I do have something to discuss. But allow me to now introduce myself in person. My name is Paptimus Scirocco, a Lieutenant among the Titans, but I prefer to concentrate on my inventions rather than improving my rank right away. Now then, may I ask your names and your reason for being in Paris?"

Maverick ran his hand through his hair with a sigh as he looked down at the man, "I'm Ensign Dyson of the UN and part of the RDF. I'm here to get fuel after making an emergency landing after re-entry from Earth's atmosphere." He said, skipping the parts that would get him cut down for Military protocol.

Rei looked directly at Paptimus. "I am Lieutenant Rei Sakurazaki of the ORB Forces. I was in the same aircraft as Ensign Maverick." And I am currently a hostage of the idiot beside me.

Scirocco's eyes go from being fixed upon Rei to his wine. He lifts the glass to his lips and sips while maintaining his eyes on the red liquid.
Hmm...this Lieutant Rei is an interesting one.
Finishing his sip, Scirocco lowers the glass from his lips. His eyes then fix upon the two pilots again.
Scirocco: "I see. So an orbit re-entry. I won't inquire the reason for it, but I must ask why you felt it necessary to come this far to a magnificent palace such as this to cause a fuss? Surely you could have looked into getting in contact with the UN Embassy through the Paris police."

"There were some...technical difficulties that we had." Sakurazaki shifted around in her boots. "I'm afraid that this is my first time in Paris, I'm not sure about Ensign Maverick, sir."

"I'm sorry to report that I have no affiliation with Paris whatsoever besides the knowledge of where the local UN base is located." Maverick replied in a calm tone as he closed his eyes. "We were on our way to that very same base when one of your...'members' decided that to try and hit on Ms. Sakurazaki. He then tried to punch me and I had no choice besides self-defense. Then your 'troops' took it upon themselves to try and 'FORCE' us into your building with the promise of some rather unsavory things." he continued in a dull voice as he opened his eyes to look at Scirocco.

Scirocco: "Hmm. I see. Disciplinary actions will be taken for the one who gave you trouble. Personally, I don't see a need to alienate such a faction, so long as they can continue to support the will of Earth. As for getting in contact with the UN Embassy, leave that to me."
Scirocco turns and pushes a button on the desk he was leaning against. Over the intercom: "Yes, please get in contact with the UN Embassy and tell them that one of their pilots needs transport to the base."
Turning back to the duo with a charming smile on his face.
Scirocco: "There we go Ensign Dyson. Now then, if I remember correctly; Lt. Rei, you are with the ORB forces correct. Shall I have my officers contact them as well?"

Rei blinked. "Yes. That would be appreciated." She bowed. "Thank you Lt. Scirocco." She looked at Maverick. "So I guess this means that I will be going."

Maverick raised his hand to stop Scirocco from picking up the phone, "That won't be necessary yet. Ms. Sakurazaki must come with me to the UN base for a debriefing and then I have a promise to fufill along the lines of owing her some Paris Cuisine." he said as he looked at Scirocco straight in the eye.

"Ensign Maverick." Sakurazaki strode over to him. "There's really no need for you to treat me to anything. In fact if you do, I'd decline. My mech is still floating up there in space, I'd honestly like to retrieve it. I am not interested in the UN concerns, or whatever." At that moment there was a low growl from her stomach. "......and I'd preferably.." She coughed. "I'd like to get home and eat some food." She looked away as a slight red tinge flushed her cheeks. "Anyways. I think that my time as your hostage should be over."

Scirocco: "Hmm, what's this now? A little lover's spat? In any case..."
Scirocco reaches out to push the intercom button again.

"L-lover's spat?!" Sakurazaki pounded a fist on his desk. "WE are definitely not together!" Rei pointed an angry finger. "He was the one who took me hostage! There's no WAY that'd I would even think about going out with that idiot!" She silently fumed.

"Aw come on Rei," Maverick chided as he spoke in a low husky tone, "I don't think we can hide it any longer..." he continued as he ran his hand through his hair. "We're actually going out tonight to talk about our future wedding after we're done talking with the UN." he said with a small smile as he looked over innocently at Rei.

She stomped on his foot. "I'm sorry but you are just a tad bit too old for my taste, Maverick. I thought you swung the other way." She regained composure. "Anyways, Lt. Scirocco...please continue."

Scirocco: "Oh dear. I'm sorry for offending you. I can see your point now."
Over the intercom: "Yes, also send word to the ORB forces that we have one of their pilots. They have an embassy in this city correct...so contact them."
Scirocco: "Ok, it seems this has been resolved."
The door to the parlor opens behind them. A young girl with pink hair walks in and salutes Scirocco.
Scirocco: "Yes, what is it Sarah?"
Sarah: "Lieutant Scirocco, the UN forces are ready to transport Ensign Dyson of the UN Forces back to the embassy. And as for Lieutenant Rei, contact has been made with the ORB Embassy, and three M1 Astrays along with an embassy vehicle are en route to pick her up."
Scirocco: "Very good, well then please escort our guests out. And for Lt. Rei, please tell that mercenary we hired to keep an eye on her. He might as well be put to some real use, the lazy fool."

Maverick shrugged as he tried to ignore the pain in his foot, "Well Rei, it's been fun. But trust me when I say we'll be seeing each other again real soon if you're going to be hanging around Paris for awhile." he said with a wink to Rei as he walked out the door.

Sakurazai called out to Maverick. "Perhaps we will meet on the battlefield again someday, Ensign Maverick." Rei bowed to the Lt, and turned away, being led to the door by Sarah. "Hope my ride gets here soon..."
